The Singer Building

The Singer Building or Singer Tower, designed by Ernest Flagg in 1908 at Liberty and Broadway.  The beaux-arts skyscraper was demolished in 1968.

What a shame to lose such a beautiful building :(
It would be 100 years old if it was still around. Our best hope is that they will go back to that kind of architecture as opposed to the ugly plain glass boxes being built in this country today.
