Freie Bibliothek und Lesehalle / Deutsches Dispensary

On the left, originally 'Freie Bibliothek und Lesehalle' and now the Ottendorfer Branch of the NYPL. On the right, originally 'Deutsches Dispensary' and now the Stuyvesant Polyclinic Hospital, both designed by William Schickel between 1883-84 on Second Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets.
